Bulluck Jersey

Hey, I have a road white jersey that has only been worn 3 or 4 times. It is XL. My wife bought it at a game and doesn’t like the way it feels on her. I’ll take $25 for it. It’s like new.

Chargers really suck this year

I wonder why? they have the same personnel as last year right?

What are you doing in Dubai?

by FaninEcuador on Dec 14, 2008 1:42 PM CST reply actions

Considering our current economic state I would consider working in Dubai.

Dunno.

We were doing the same thing against the Packers when they had one of the best pass-defenses in the game.

But yeah, you just wonder how long Collins can keep getting breaks on some of these bad throws.

by gotitans27 on Dec 14, 2008 2:17 PM CST reply actions

Disagree.

It’s the perfect time to put him in. The game’s in Houston, team’s only down by one. It gives him every chance to succeed. The only reason you don’t put him in is if you care more about Collin’s feelings that about VY’s future.

Joy Kat

by Joy kat on Dec 14, 2008 3:29 PM CST up reply actions

Unless someone on this board has an inside track to the Titans bench

it’s an unanswerable question. Whether or not it is legitimate depends on whether one believes it matters what Young was doing at that moment.

I wouldn’t be too surprised if Young doesn’t have the same gameplan that Collins does. His skillset is too different to try and fit them both into the exact same scheme. Thus the person most likely to be able to give good comments on the plays Collins makes is Sims.

~Till the Halo burns out...

by Zu Long on Dec 14, 2008 3:34 PM CST up reply actions

The biggest thing is we have a bye already

Sure, it will be great to have home field advantage throughout…but if we aren’t the number one seed….then we will more than likely avoid the Colts until the AFC Championship. i am more scared of the Colts than anyone. We still control our own destiny. Let’s just hope Haynesworth is OK. It was a bad decision by Fisher, but our defense still couldn’t stop them at the end.

by gotitans27 on Dec 14, 2008 3:28 PM CST reply actions

Colts?!?!

They could barely handle the Lions. I’d play them with a handicap down 14 at the beginning of the game instead of the steelers or ravens. We can’t move the ball against a good defense, cant even run it against one.

~Till the Halo burns out...

by Zu Long on Dec 14, 2008 3:43 PM CST up reply actions

On a different note though, congrats to the Texans.

They look like they have a great team. Titans defense still played fantastic only giving up 13 points, especially with the stupid 15 yard penalties and 200+ yards by Johnson. This Texan offense has been playing as well as anyone else, so we can hold the steelers to 13 points as well, just can’t turn it over and we need quality drives on offense.

Houston is a new force to be reckoned with in the AFC South. But we are still better.

by titanbt53 on Dec 14, 2008 3:43 PM CST reply actions

Realistically

It’s 16 points since we can’t really expect the Steelers to miss a field goal from 30 yards.

Personally, I still go back to the 3 and inches call.

With maybe an inch or two to go, why not have Collins sneak it? Or if you don’t trust Collins, bring in Vince for one play and sneak it. Handing it off just gives them too much time.

He said they measured it before the game and it was out of Rob’s range. Actually he said “well out of Rob’s range” I am a huge Fisher fan and will continue to be. I think he is an excellent coach. However, I did not believe him when he said that.
Also I agree with titanbt53 below…that was a low percentage play call (especially since it was going to McCareins!!!)

watch the fisher show and root for the ravens...

That’s really all you can do. . . Call has been made – there’s probably not a great reason, but at least fisher will admit it when he makes bad calls. Give him a chance to explain it and focus on next week…

by kazukirecords on Dec 14, 2008 3:54 PM CST reply actions

actually, he didn't admit it at all

rob hit from 60 once, 51 already today, and no one seemed to think the wind was too strong but fisher.

by hal41605 on Dec 14, 2008 4:20 PM CST up reply actions

51

The 51 yarder was the other direction.

I dont believe Fisher about the wind. However, if it was too strong to kick a 49 yarder on way then it must have been pretty strong. Therefore, the 51 yarder the other direction would be easier. So, saying that he kicked a 51 yarder earlier when it was the other direction is not a very good argument.

by DonFrancisco on Dec 14, 2008 4:28 PM CST up reply actions

Okay, if that is the case, then...

What was up with that play call. Deep pass to McCareins?? Get Scaife involved again, a short pass to CJ or Hall, anything but deep!!
