Is Chris Johnson faster than Usain Bolt?
In case you missed it, our beloved (Orlando native), Chris Johnson was on both Sportscenter live and ESPN first take this morning.
Here is a summary of some comments and my thoughts:
CJ's tick is bad... very bad - he shakes his head endlessly
Asked who the leader was in the clubhouse : Bullock - like that
Asked about his speed: "I would beat Usain Bolt in the 40, I'm the fastest man in the history of the NFL" - love it
Asked if he would beat a grizzley bear if he was on the 1 yard line and the bear had to stop him from the 50 - "most definately"
Scary moment : his heroes in the league include - Deion Sanders, T.O., and Chad Johnson ...... lets hope Fish has that under wraps
Comments on Bling: WOW. CJ cashed in that first bonus check early - but where can I get one of those grills?
Regardless, Crazy Legs is still my presidential candidate - he will be back on at 4 E.T. for NFL live if you want to see what I'm talking about.

He has a cockiness about him
that I like as long as it is kept in check. I trust that Fisher and that locker room can keep it in check.

You need a young guy like that to be cocky.
He doesn’t seem like to the type to be cocky in a bad way though. He seems more like the fun loving cocky guy. That you can control. It’s the egomaniacs who are the real problem……

You mean like Chad Johnson?
Chad used to be cocky in a non-destructive way. Then it got a bit out of hand. There’s always that risk. Speaking of Chad, did any of you see him kiss Marvin Lewis this weekend after scoring a TD? That was so funny.
At the very least, CJ is on a team with grounded teammates and a coach who has seen it all. I like his odds of not developing a full-blown Christ complex.

Ocho pissed me off
on the DP show today. After our Titans handing it to him he said the Steelers and the Ravens are better than us….. WEAK!

I know a Titan that used to say all the right things...
Still doesn’t mean their head is in the game necessarily.
