flexible schedule
I’d have to say that the Titans best opportunity to make a Sunday Night would either be at home against the Jets, or Steelers. If only due to the possibility of playoff complications. We should have had that shot on the final game of 2006 against the Pats, but NBC still doesnt recognize Nashville has an NFL franchise. That may still be the case when we go undefeated. It may never change.
That was Favre's fault
because it was his last game. You remember his last game back in 2006, right?

NFL already
requested the Sunday Night game between TEN and PIT but have been refused by CBS/FOX (don’t remember which channel)
Where did you hear that?
I am 95% sure that NBC can get any game they want.

i think i heard it
on ESPN when they mentioned the schedule change for Jax vs. Titans game
and you can also see it being mentioned in various football forms
i am pretty sure CBS and Fox can refuse but the number of refusal is restricted
No. NBC can do flex scheduling, but ABC and FOX have the right to protect games as well.
It’s a complicated arrangement, but it’s necessary. Otherwise, SNF would always be the best game of the week, which only sounds good in theory. In practice, it would make the product that ABC and FOX pay for worth a lot less. They’d only ever have second tier games that are clearly worth less. And since the NFL is basically ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, they won’t do that.
By doing it this way, they let everybody have SOME flexibility, and therefore charge everyone the max dollars possible.

Go Titans!
flex scheduling.
something else to consider. im pretty sure that CBS and FOX each get to protect one or 2 games that they are not allowed to steal to move to sunday night
