should not be to proud
Hey, i am a dedicated titans fan and i like that fact that it was a blowout yesterday but i also realize that we faced a very bad lions team.
The titans need to stay healthy and use vy in a wildcat sort of package with colllins. This ill throw people of balance and allow use to do different things that they do not expect. After that loss to the jets i felt like our season was over because we were manhandled the only way they can regain my respecct is if they convincingly beat pittsburgh

I am "to proud"
We are 10-1 in the National Football League.
Seriously. 10-1. And they have lost your respect? Are you ESPN?
And please don’t start the VY wildcat crap. It doesn’t work and all it is going to do is get him killed. We are 10-1 and don’t need to change a thing. Except maybe actually deciding to play every game and not rolling over for the Jets. Which I guarantee will not happen again.

"proud"
i meant we should not be to proud because it was against the lions, the jets showed the rest of the league that we a sussceptible to being manhandled liek that at home and the “good” teams will try to take advantage of that

just like cleveland
showed the giants can be handled by carp teams right?

damn no edit buttons
that would be crap teams, though a team of carps might be more competitive than the browns

If i was a coach
and a team put there qb in as a wideout in the wildcat formation i’d tell my dbs to take shots at him. I’m serious. i know it sounds dirty and im not saying do anything illegal but maybe jam the guy really really really hard.

Kinda like Cortland did to Brett Favre when they lined up with Brad Smith in there in Nashville
Not to mention Brad Smith just about got killed when they tackled him.

vince is not favre or smith
it makes zero sense to be so worried about a guy who weighs 235 pounds getting beat up when he is bigger and stronger than our star running back or any of our wide receivers. vy doesn’t live in a qbs body. guy could play linebacker and i wouldn’t worry about him.
ps. i love how a new york team get to lose by 21 to craptastic browns team and it’s no big deal, but we lose to a really good team by the same score and suddenly we are frauds. just love it.

I see where you are going hal, but it just doesn't make any sense.
We are winning without trying to run some gimmick offense, and I just don’t see any sense in getting our franchise qb (for now) pounded over and over for no reason.
And everyone outside of MCM has just been waiting for a reason to jump off the bandwagon. I knew it was gonna be ugly.
My personal favorite (just like every week) is Peter King putting the Jets in front of the Titans.
The Jets lost to the Raiders. THE RAIDERS.

i don't want a drastic change
if it’s not broken don’t fix it. i’m only talking about 2-4 plays MAX a game. not even a whole drive. i’m just afraid of having another game on offense like we had against the jets where nothing is working, receivers are sucking, run blocking suffers, etc.
if you read all the post game comments from yesterday, multiple lions talk about how simple our offense is, and that’s great when you can steam roll people because they suck, but it’s not going to be like that in january. i would see the wildcat as nothing more than an insurance policy, or a way to shake things up if needed. it also forces defenses to prepare for something else, which is always a plus.
at this point i have totally given up on it happening, but i still think they should at least try it once or twice and see what happens.

That's exactly it.
I’m a VY fan. Ya’ll know that, but I support Kerry being in there this year. That said, I would have loved to see some trickery using VY against the Jets. Use some craziness to spark an otherwise dead team. That game needed some energy pumped into it, and VY doing some of what he does may have done that.
Wildcat or whatever, some other than normal plays with a QB that is not expected to play could do wonders for momentum and motivation if our boys get down again.
Stay safe.

I love our direction
Keep running the ball and playing “bend but don’t break” defense. Let KC throw when he needs to, to keep things loose and exploit some man to man coverage.
I hope Lendale has worked out his issues … even though his comments yesterday made us sound like any other team. One thing I like about the Titans is we win, but we are humble and very workman like. Lendale’s comments the last 2 weeks have been a little too cocky for my taste. But hey, keep winning Titans and lets get some home field throughout the playoffs!
