I don't know how you can even call this reporting. It seems to me that Peter King took a small bit of actual fact and the rest of it is all conjecture and wishful thinking.
Hoge and King must buy from the same dealer. I used to like King's articles, but he's become too full of himself or something.
Fisher never tells the 100% truth to the media, but I would be very very surprised if they cut VY next year.

Basically
The guys (King, Florio) can just say whatever they want too. He has no idea that that is what the Titans are thinking. I can make up a scenario, and it would be just as likely to be true, and I am just a blogger.

Wow
I can’t imagine there is any way it plays out that way. Vince would have had to have done some horrible horrible things behind the scenes that we don’t know about for the organization to feel this way. And, based on the way Fisher is reacting recently, it seems things are going well with VY.
Maybe he’s frustrated because his VY prediction didn’t pan out last year:

Not certain King even believes this
At that level of reporting, some feel that they must come up with the ‘cutting edge’ story if only to draw attention to themselves. The reporters/analyst’s name has to be in the lime light to maintain position in the profession….though it can backfire ala Mary Hoge and his lies on Jeff Fisher’s comments. Quality reporters don’t feel they need that ‘edge’ and are invariably respected by their peers and the fans. Then you have the Kings and Hoge’s with insecurity problems.

King
is a blathering idiot. If he isn’t suckling at the Patriot teet or kneeling in front of Brett Favre he isn’t happy. His column has lost all credibility with me the last couple years. Not to mention how I detest him on Football Night in America.
On an unrelated note would you guys like to here about when I was in the airport the other day in Newark?
Or perhaps the great Grande Mocha Chai Tea I had at a Starbucks in Seattle?
What a loser.
