Answer
About right I think. Titans are 6-0 and the Colts are 3-3.

He could play, but I’d be surprised if he did.

Answer
Ok, I’ll do my best to not get into a rant here. I’ll just state the facts: Marvin Harrison did not shoot anyone. He was never charged with a crime. In fact, the police announced that he was never a suspect in anything. It was reported that Marvin’s gun was used to shoot at a felon who caused a disturbance outside a Philly bar. When caught and questioned, the felon refused to identify who shot a him. Since he won’t talk, no charges have been filed. The felon has since sued Marvin Harrison for God knows what, and will likely get jack squat from the suit.

for once
i really wasn’t trying to start shit. it just seems mind blowing that nothing came of that considering the way most nfl player police incidents go these days.

I believe you
Your question was totally valid. I just didn’t want to go off on some crazy rant and not answer it. :)

Other than the sanders / addai
issue – are you guys getting anybody back this week that you think will be helpful to you? How do you feel the OL is going to hold up?
by numbertenox on Oct 24, 2008 4:54 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
Gijon Robinson
is probably it. He’s the 2nd TE and best blocking TE. That’ll free Clark up for more receiving and help against the edge rush. The OL is doing better in pass pro, but they still are having trouble run blocking. The guards are rookies, Jeff Saturday has been playing hurt (he was suppose to be getting back around now, but he’s played the last 4 games) Ryan Diem hasn’t been playing well and Charlie Johnson is the second best LT on the team. They’ve finally said Ugoh might get back on the field so the line might take a big jump if he has his head on straight.

He says so
how much you believe him depends on how much of the blame for the O’s struggles you put on 3 new O-line starters and him being out of sync with his targets after not being able to work with them for months.
I think he’s 100%

Who is the long term LT - Johnson or Ugoh?
by TitanRob on Oct 24, 2008 10:15 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
Hell if I know
Ugoh has all the potential but they benched him for some reason that they haven’t talked about, but they have said they are going to start working him back into the lineup. The most common theory was that the coaches took issue with his (possible lack of) effort in practice and willingness to work through pain.
Johnson was a disaster at both tackle spots last year, but has improved to being a passable LT.
I hope Ugoh is in the Colts future. He’s extremely talented and the Colts invested a 1st round pick in him.

What will be the Colts gameplan this Monday night on offense and defense?
Go Titans!
by Pinoy Titan on Oct 25, 2008 4:04 AM CDT reply actions 0 recs
Answers
Gameplan on offense will likely involve establishing a running game or short passing game to move the chains. They may place Dallas Clark in the slot, 3 WRs package and run the ball out of that set using the stretch play. Key to the offense is not turning the football over. They’ve been bad at that of late. They also might look to test Tennessee’s secondary early with some strikes down the field.
On defense, their priority is stopping the run. Tennessee’s offense is not good, but it is effective at running the ball and shortening the game. If the Colts continue to improve at stopping the run (which they have) it will force Tennessee to throw more than they like to. If the Colts get a good lead, they can then turn lose their pass rush on Collins.
If Bob Sanders plays (doubtful, but who knows) the Colts will likely run a Cover 3 defense, with Bob shifting down into the box on first down. They may even blitz Sanders.

give some credit
10th best scoring. 4th in rushing. sure our passing game isn’t much, out of design.
if our offense is not good, then your defense is not good.

Defense
Right now, our defense isn’t good, and nor is your offense. No team, by design, has the #26th pass offense in football.

If you're running through D lines
that look like yard rakes there is no reason to pass. Gotta give it to the Titans O-line. They open up some big holes.

Why are Colts fans so classless and big-headed?

Answer
Since everyone knows they aren’t classless or big-headed, I don’t quite get your question. I mean, only a freak in Knoxville would think a Peyton Manning led team is classless and big-headed.
Ok, maybe big-headed. Peyton’s cranium is rather huge. ;)

Poor Peyton
You know he was the first to try the Revolution helmet because they couldn’t find one of the old style that would fit him. heh
I feel bad for the guy. I went to school with him and everyone ripped him for his melon. He played it off pretty well though. Of course it wasn’t as if he didn’t have other aspects of his life that were going pretty well for him.
