What is up w/VY?
Has anyone discovered if VY has been practicing? I haven't caught any updates in the reporting.

Yeah he is practicing.
He took the majority of the starting O snaps this week while Kerry got a little extra rest. Fisher is still talking about special packages for Vince but I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one. While I think it would be a great idea ultimately the negative impact would be psychological to Kerry. The press would run with a QB controversy article and then the chinks in the armor would start to become prevalent.
So long story short: yes he is practicing but don’t look for him in a game any time soon. So long as Kerry is healthy that’s it.

Impact would be psychological to Kerry?
I think Kerry is professional enough to know there may be times in the game that special packages for Vince may be appropriate. Especially if the running game is shut down at some point. Ultimately, the QB controversy won’t go away until Vince is the starting QB again.

agree but disagree
It would not hurt Kerry’s psyche to put VY into a few packages. He knows he’s the starter. What would be psychologically damaging is if he is struggling in a game (like vs. the Ravens) and Vince is put in. That’s why I’m glad we kept him in last week.
But there is no QB controversy in Tennessee (at least at the professional level). Kerry is our present, and Vince is our future. That’s that. I think you will see VY in a few plays every so often though.
It's our year.

My point was.....
that any perceived or actual controversy will put thoughts into the back of Kerry’s mind. Regardless of how well you do your job it’s only human nature to look over your shoulder and if the guy you replaced suddenly starts to show he is a viable option it would be only natural for Kerry to have that in the back of his mind. Even Spurrier knew that a 2QB system can’t work in the NFL to any degree.

Vince Young is the future, but Kerry Collins is the present.....
I like Vince Young, but just think Kerry Collins is just what the team needs right now. He’s done a great job so far, and I don’t think he will get us beat or anything like that. Vince is the future, but Kerry Collins is the present. Right now, he’s MVP of the team.
A little something I put together on YouTube for Titans fans to enjoy:
