Murfreesboro City Miracle

If anybody else was at the MTSU game last night, you were probably shaking your head thinking why did I waste my night watching this. Even when the Blue Raiders scored with about 5 minutes left I was still wondering why I was still there. But for some reason I decided to stay just in case something happened. I'm glad I did because I witnessed probably the biggest thing to happen to MTSU athletics. Having a 4th quarter comeback and capping it off with a Hail Mary to win the game in front of a national audience is hopefully the first step to MTSU becoming a nationally recognized team.

Best of all, I get to congratulate the overachieving freshman that caught the game-winning pass first thing in class tomorrow (that is if I actually make it to class after tonight)

I know this is a Titans fan site but if you live in the Middle Tenn area something like this has to make you smile. Go Titans and go Blue Raiders!

I was trying to decide if there would be more points or penalties.

I walked back into my living room when I heard the announcers saying there was only a minute left or something. So I stood there and watched that last drive.

WOW! I actually got to witness a defining moment rather than read about it!

I left it on while doing some paperwork and looked up with about 5 minutes remaining. What a finish! Congrats to the Blue Raiders. I bet Chris Mesaro (sp?) almost wet himself.
Good for coach Stockstill too. He’s put a lot of work into that program and is really making some headway this season.
