AAFL

Is anybidy else following this AAFL thing? I think it could be a really good idea. Obviously it wont actually compete with NFL or even college, but I personally like it better than XFL or AFL. It uses some of the rivalries from college to make games more interesting, and they play actual football. What do you guys think?

I think it has....
....the best chance of any of those leagues.

I'll give it a shot, because I'm a football junkie
I'll root for Team TN, although rooting for a team that plays in Neyland Stadium in Knoxville kinda goes against the grain for me.

What about the next fall's UFL on Friday nights?  There might be a Memphis franchise...

which almost automatically dooms the league to failure.  (Hasn't every failed pro league had a team playing in Memphis?  I know the USFL did.  And the XFL did.    And the World League did.  And the failed CFL US expansion had a Memphis franchise.)

And... anybody watch women's football?  It looks like the Nashville team has folded.
