In search of playmakers...

I looked at drafttek.com and noticed that you listed mlb as a non-priority.
I totally disagree with this asessment.

We need a playmaker between Thornton and Bulluck, someone who run side to side.
I'm not sold on Fowler or Tullock at this position. I know Lance Briggs is a OLB, but i'd think he'd be good at that position.

I know we have a need at DE, Jared Allen of the Chiefs would look great i think.

And how about Ocho-cinco lining up as a Titan, i've heard multiple rumors, the bengals might trade him. I think the titans should make a jump at him, since he's a provenwr, who can strech the field. I know, he doesn't block, which is a very bad thing in the titans system, but you can't deny his talent.
And then draft someone like Mario Manningham out of Michigan.

I know my lineup will never happen, but here my suggestion:

Offence:
QB: Young
HB: White/Henry
FB: Hall
WR1: Johnson
WR2: Manningham
WR3: R. Williams
TE: Troupe
LT: Roos
LG: Bell
C: Mawae
RG: Olsen
RT: Stewart

Defence:
DE: Vanden Bosch/Allen
DT: Haynesworth/Brown
OLD: Bulluck/Thornton
MLB: Briggs
CB: Pacman/Finnegan
S: Hope/Griffin

I know it's impossible, but you can allways dream.

I didn't do the ratings at Draft Tek....

....but if I did, I would not have put MLB as a need. I really like Tulloch.

Tulloch also. And Fisher really likes Fowler. I think Tulloch is a sideline to sideline player.

I'd take...

Scaife over Troupe anytime. Or any other starting TE in the NFL for that matter.

2008 changes

You know I look at guys like Shockey, Clark, Witten. Winslow, Gates and just wish we could get somebody like that.

It would be cool to pick up Michael Turner but that is really doubtful.

I like Jared Allan and Fanceca from Pittsburgh for free agency.

I don't think we will draft high for WR. It has proven to be one of the most difficult positions to get right in the draft. Bowe was great this year, Meachem didn't play. Gonzalez was a good slot receiver, Ginn didn't do much and the dude at detroit had an average year. It is a difficult problem to solve but I think it is unlikely we will take a first round chance. God forbid we pick up Chad Johnson.
