Around SBN: The Worst Team Ever Projected?

Monday Morning QB'ing

Yesterday's game was as good as it gets (except for the final score). I had a few thoughts during the game, I'd like to share them with you now.

Nick Harper's for real. The Colts either stayed away from him on purpose or he simply had Harrison covered. Either way, he's the genuine article.

Where's Griffin? We need more Griffin!

One big aspect of VY's coaching during the offseason has been to resist the urge to run. While it's true, he'll never be "great" unless he can sit in the pocket and check down, once again yesterday he didn't run when I thought he should have. He could have gotten us into FG range on that last drive if he'd trusted his instincts.

Looks like Roydell might be stepping up. I like Davis, too.

Whoever called that little swing pass should be beaten with a dead farm animal. Colts are too fast for that!

If the Saints really are as bad as they seem to be, we'll be 2-1 going into our bye week.

Looks like the Colts are legit. They could repeat. Better them than the Pats. I'm really beginning to dislike the Pats.

That being said, it's a long season. Might be the Texans and Lions in the big game, for all we know.

What I learned
Here are the things I learned from the game yesterday:

-The Colts are forreal. They are a different team then they have been in the past. I think noone can accuse them of being soft anymore. I think they were tested yesterday and they passed... sortof.

-The Titans are comming. I think we will make the playoffs the year, but I am confident that in the next couple years we will be Superbowl bound. We have a lot of young talent that will keep us in the hunt for many years to come.

-Roydell impressed me a lot with that TD catch. That was a veteran move. I think he should get more reps.

-Conversely, Brandon Jones should get less reps. I don't think we should cut him, but I think after that drop we should give one of the other recievers (like Ealy) a chance to shine.

Roydell's
TD catch was nice.  But his side line catch on the final Drive was AWESOME!

Just think.  Had we kept Bennett and/or Wade Roydell wouldn't be getting his chance

If we
had D.Bennett, he may have been the one in the position to make that last catch, that someone dropped.
