As mentioned by Big Bad Bulluck in this diary, Kelly Herndon has agreed to a 3 year deal with the Titans.  BBB also raises some interesing questions about what this means for the rest of the secondary.

I don't think the Titans would bring a guy like Herndon in if they did not have the intentions of him starting.  I think this means you will see Harper at one corner and Herndon at the other.  This will also allow Finnegan to stay a the nickle where he excelled last year.

More importantly, it will allow Griffin to move back and play free safety.  This move says to me that the Titans were not assured Griffin could successfully make the move.  I am excited to see what he can do in his natural position.
