Loyal Titan???

I wanted to make a poll on Titan's fan. I live in Austin, Tx and have grown up an avid Longhorn fan attending numerous sporting events (Long time season ticket holder for football and basketball), but also an Oilers fan since I was five. But when I tell people I am a Titans fan they always respond with, "Oh Vince Young, thats why." Typically before they even respond I tell them...no not Vince Young with a little attitude. It somewhat disappoints me that many Titans fans are Longhorn fans who only like them because of #10. So I'm asking you; are you a Titan fan because of Vince Young?

Nope...
I've been a Oilers/Titans fan for forever... Don't get me wrong I love Vince Young, as a matter of fact i wanted anybody but Leinart, i delivered Water to USC and he was kinda snobby, so leading up to the draft I was hoping for Young, but I'm a Titans fan all the way.

Vince is the man!
But, I became a Titans fan in 99 when they became the Titans. Never was really an Oiler fan, I was a Favre fan! When they came to TN and dropped the Oilers name, I became a fan. Vince it great to have thou! JMart dont worry about it man. There are a lot of Colts/Manning fans that get the same treatment. Except I am not sure anyone in TN ever really was a Colts fan before Peyton. Heck Im not sure ANYONE was a Colts fan before Peyton. Hang in there loyal Tiatan Fan!
Go Titans!

Oilers Fan....
I grew up an Oilers fan.  Had my heart broken the day the lost to the Bills after having a 35-3 lead in the playoffs.  I am glad to have Young, just like I was glad to have Moon, McNair, and Eddie George!

Dude
Total BS game.  Reed was WAY out of bounds and right in front of the Ref!!!  without that TD the drive is stopped and the comeback doesn't happen.  Blantly out of bounds!

Then the mugging in OT that lead to the INT and field goal was terrible. Once again the back judge was right there and missed the call!

But I take this into account.  If not for that game the Oilers wouldn't have hired Buddy Ryan the next year and the whole gilbride/Ryan incident wouldn't have happened after the Jet's game.

So the following year when Pardee was let go if and that hadn't happen then we wouldn't have Fisher now.

This is a great diary
I have a been a fan since they became the Tennessee Oilers as I have lived in Nashville all my life.  I welcome our new Longhorn brethren.  Hopefully they will be long time Titan fans.

I don't want to hear about anyone cheering for the Titans because of Vince but being Texans fans.  It makes me so angry when I see "Titans fans" who cheer for the Colts because of Peyton.  No man can serve to masters.  Either you are a Titans fan or a Colts fan.  YOU CANNOT BE BOTH!!

Sorry, touched a nerve there.

My colts ?
I want the Colts to lose every week unless they play the patriots. However, once the Titans did not make the playoffs I wanted Peyton to win, f nothing else just so we could stop talking about how he never wins. Is that okay?

Vince Young is the man!
But I am a Titans fan.  Never was an Oilers fan.  Cheered for Bo Jackson when I was in school, and always wished I could have a hometown team (close to Atlanta, but I can't handle the Falcons).  So when I got a team in my state, I signed up and have never looked back.

And it is hard not to cheer for Peyton Manning, but I cannot stand that Colt blue.  It almost makes me hate the Colts even more that he plays for them.  But, rest assured Jimmy, I DO HATE THE COLTS!

Go Titans!

Oiler/Bill Wildcard
White- I mostly remember the non-PI call in OT.  I can't stand to watch that game on NFL Network.  I tried a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't do it.  I do have to say, I feel better about it since the Music City Miracle...that gave some vendication.  Now I am waiting for a Super Bowl win so I can get over the Rams game!!

bad
thing is that it wasn't even a questionable PI call.  Tasker (i believe) was drapped over Hill, piggy backing him!

The MCM was nice, but it just wasn't the same. because at that time the bills were such a tough team and all the come back did was add to that teams legacy. YUCK!

But just as I was getting over that the Ref's blow another call in the loss to the Pat's. How do you call a player for holding when he steps back and the DL falls to the ground?  That call neligated Bennets catch on third down and pushed up back into what ended up being a 4th and 16 or something. Pat's get the ball and win by a field goal!

Eversince the Miracle
American Football was never a popular sport in the Philippines. The MCM was the first playoff game that I have seen though, and eversince I was hooked to George, Wycheck, McNair and the Titans.

I would wake up at around 3AM every Monday (1PM Sunday in the States) just to watch Titans and go to work half asleep.

Go Titans! :D

I'm a Jackson, TN boy- lived in Nashville for 3 years before moving up to Vail, CO.  I've pulled for the Titans since day one.

Never an oiler fan.
but soon as they changed too the Titans I didn't

even miss a game until two seasons ago. So no, not

because of Vince, even though he does make it a

little bit more interesting than the last few

seasons. But I think McNair & George was great until

there time with the team ended.
