Nothing stands out
they should have gotten a hold of Eldra Buckley from Chattanooga before San Diego.  At least he had some college stats unlike whoever that is that we drafted to stand behind Vince.

Hmm
Question about MLB?  ;-p Just messing with ya

I'll have to look into them when I get home.

Biren Ealy could be the next drew bennett

I really liked
D.Ware at Georgia, I think he may be able to make the team. We probably should have taken him in the 2nd rd. I think he has a better chance of making the team than C.Henry.

In all seriousness I really think he may turn out to be a good pro.

He did
have some really good games in college.  I would say he is the best one on the list.

He actually ran the ball
against SEC defenses.  Not like our second round pick (I won't even use his name) who struggled against Pac-10 defenses.

I saw a good quote in the Tennessean this morning--LenDale White tore up Pac-10 defenses when he was in school, and you see how dominating he was last year.  What did this guy do against Pac-10 defenses?

I can't believe we wasted a second round pick.

Go Titans!

I don't
think he played enough.

Stats

BY 12 att for 63 yards and 4.8 avg
LSU 6 att for 2 yards and 0.3 avg
Stephen F. Austin did not play
USC 2 att -8 yards -4.0 avg
Washington 5 att 24 yards 4.8 avg
UCLA 9 att 10 yards 1.1 avg
Standord 16 att 91 yards 5.7 avg 1 td
Oregon State 9 att 19 yards 2.1 avg
Washinton State 35 att 94 yards 2.7 avg 2 tds
California 25 att 57 yards 2.3 2 tds
Oregon 29 att 191 yards 6.6 avg 2 tds
Arizona State 16 att 38 yards 2.4 avg.

this doesn't include his catching stats.

Not overly impressive that is for sure.  but he only started 6 games.

Why couldn't
he get on the field?

Especially
against Stephen F Austin.  I guess the coaching staff didn't want to get him hurt.

I don't know
the answer to that.  Everyone who is considered an expert says that they didn't use him right.

But he didn't look too bad once he did get on the field.

of course these so called experts also say he was the 3rd highest rated running back on most teams boards.

That just shows you how weak of a draft class this was.

Dangit...
I was really hoping some of the Texas refugee RB's would sign up to play with Vince again like Selvin Young or Ramonce Taylor(better back than most on the board if not for the drug conviction, which is actually all done with and he runs a low low 4.4-4.35).  Selvin signed with the Broncos, which is ok since he was known mostly for being a fumbler.  Taylor is still out there and hopefully they pick him up just to be a returner for practice squad guy.  He's crafty enough to be a slot WR if need be and if you remember the Texas-Ohio State game in 2005, he can turn a disaster of a kick return into an almost TD with his speed alone.
