In case you wanted to play out scenarios in your head before the big day on Saturday here is a points chart for draft trades. I don't know if every team uses this or not, but this is the thing that Jimmy Johnson is credited with creating.

Times have changed some. Most GM's still use that but I think they are more flexable than in the past.

Trades are up in recent years. First rounds contracts are huge also. So teams like the Lion's and Redskins would probably take a lot less than what is valved in points for their picks.

Yeah

you are probably right. But at the same time #19 isn't a bad spot. Just remember 32 players are coming out of the 1st round either way (unless the vikings screw it up again)

I'm pretty convinced we shouldn't take a WR with that pick. But that is just me.
