Travis Henry Signs with the Broncos
This according to The Tennessean. That sound you hear is Titan fans jumping into the Cumberland River. He got $12 million guaranteed from the Broncos while the Titans were offering $8.
I guess I was really, really wrong on this one. I didn't think there is anyway the Titans would let him walk. I don't know where they go from here but they now have a big need at RB to go along with DE, CB, S, and WR. Not exactly the offseason we were all hoping for so far.
Update [2007-3-5 20:15:12 by Jimmy]:BREAKING NEWS: The Titans will host 2 free agents on Tuesday. Although, Reinfeldt would not say who they are. There is life in the front office.

K.Collins
That may as well have been M.Rienfeldt's statement. Do you think Rienfeldt is still secretly working for the Seahawks and sabotaging the Titans?

if our GM thinks Collins can win any games
like jimmy said, please give him same game tape...
hell, while we are at it, we need to highlight Peter Sirmon, Lamont Thompson and Reynaldo Hill in those game tapes as well...
the next thing I know, they are going to be saying:
"Maybe more importantly, we also trust that Lamont Thompson is good enough he will help us win some games this year."

My Fellow
We've lost two guys and you are ready to shut the whole team down!
let's think about what we lost and let's ask the question. Did Henry make VY better or did VY make Henry better? Or maybe it was the O-line that made Henry look that good. Henry had a 4.5 yard avg. White had an 4.0. Stay healthy and he's a better RB then Henry is.
it will be ok!!

Big Bad Bulluck you kill me.
I'm upset that the Titans couldn't get him back. I really thought that they would. But I still have two RB's that I would rather have that are very much a possability. 1 is Willis McGahee of course... and another one is someone who nobody has really mentioned..... Michael Turner. Why not? Offfer him starter money and I'm sure the Chargers won't be able to match. He's got to be better then Len Dale White... who I really only see as a 3rd down back.
I'm still not going to panic... but that sucks. SCREW YOU BRONCOS! I now have a reason to hate you! That'll put you up there with Baltimore and Indianapolis.

I think W.McGahee would be a great fit here, just depends on what we have to give up. I'm not totally sold on M.Turner he has never really carried much of the load at all. I think if I had a choice I'd rather see White than him. Or see them maybe shoulder the load together.
White02slpss-As far as Vince making Henry better or Henry making Vince better. The answer is probably a little bit of both. Obviously you have to respect the roll out w/Vince so it freezes the DE's and sometime the OLB's from just diving down inside to stop the run. But, with Henry you had to respect the play-action. Henry actually made a make-shift O-line look pretty good. He broke tackle after tackle for his share of long runs, and had a good amount called back this season. And I watched every game and didn't see Vince break 1 tackle for him. If Henry had a 4.5 and White had a 4.0 avg. then what is the basis for White being better? Healthy or not Henry averaged more ypc.

Focus on the Draft?
But BBB's entry is indeed HILARIOUS about Reinfeldt :-) yet BBB once again made a good point but it's sorta "creepy", isn't it? But
maybe Fisher has turned into Bellichick, and that's a Good Thing ie. keep those cards held close to your vest?! hmmmmm ...
we have so many young "unknowns" that when we have time, perhaps review their college history of play (and potential) that only the Coaches know since we aren't "on staff" .. just a thought.
just trying to ease pain .. trying to look at it like "the glass is half full" and remain optimistic ..
but it's great to see that ppl really care; i'm "down-under" in Rural TN right now and the good ole boys ain't happy .. they are PSL owners and season ticket buyers (Big deal to them!) and they are very disappointed .. it's hard on me putting out fires everywhere but in my usual way I will do my best to comfort them since they don't have the luxury of mutiple job opportunities and are trying their damn-dest to be supportive and be devoted to their Pro team 'cause a 4 hour commute attending home games is like going to NY to them - Bless their hearts, sigh ..
but I presented the fact (and had to be honest) that the "Haters" on the tennessean forum (the vulchers) want them to get discouraged and sell their PSL's at "rock bottom prices" which i learned Sunday morning while perusing their comments and needless to say, rural TN ain't happy about that possibility; but I have warned them which was MOST UNPLEASANT.

They also might be wating for:
FA pricing to come down ..
i think they have their draft picks ready .. jaws theme playing .. 2 months to go and a ton of phone calls prior ..
good idea to keep a sense of humor!
and speaking of that I think I will go out and use the light of the full moon to change the fuses in my lawnmower

Maybe after that
Jamal Lewis is the last person the Titans need. He is done and he has a few off the field problems.

Draft x's 2
19. Charles Johnson*, DE, Georgia (6-2, 280) | previous: 13
Not only gifted from a pure talent standpoint, but he also has the work ethic to match. Johnson is active, alert and extremely productive.

BBB
Don't get me wrong. Henry was good for us. But he isn't the whole team.
Someone mentioned about getting Stallworth. I guess that could actually work out. When he get's out of Rehab we can sign him and then Pac would have someone in house to Deal with. If it's in house then he is less likely to get caught. LOL!!!
