The big mean man scares me mommy

Is it just me, or has Albert become a major post-game smack talker this year. That's better than a pre game talker I guess, but wow - some of the stuff he's said this year after games is downright embarrasin'. From this week, regarding Schaub who went out with a dislocated shoulder:

"I think he's just scared of us. Maybe next year he won't play against us, he'll just sit that game out," he said. "We were determined not to let (Rosenfels) get started and all that. But he still made some good plays and all that. It's just too bad he didn't get that $60 million."

Again, wow. It's the verbal equivalent of grinding somebody's face with your cleats while their down. Coaches have got to just dread what their players are gonna say when microphones are in front of them.

Big Al - please keep playin' and stop talkin' dude.

Nastiness........

is what this D needs!! I'm not advocating stopping dudes without a helmet or late hits, but one of the reasons the Titans D is so much better with Big Al playing is his "take no prisoners attitude". Did you see some of the close ups of his face on Sunday? I'm a couple thousands miles away and that dude scared me. Football has a lot to do with intimidation and fear. Intimidate and scare the other team and you've won half the battle.

Yeah...

I think the media makes too much of the trash talking between players. Have they never played street ball? Trash talking is like 90% of the fun! They're playin football; not tiddly-winks. If Schaub or anybody else gets their feelings hurt by what somebody says then they should be accountants or something.

I like the attitude, thats what makes a defense......meanness. by the way, was anybody watching the game when it showed big al pacing along the line with that snarl on his face? He looked like a caged lion. It was classic, i would not want to get in his way.

If I had been Matt Schaub, I would have left the huddle and begged them to throw in the backup before he could hurt me again.

I cant lie

this is 1 of the reasons he is growing on me. He is nasty, and as long I he is playing clean football, and smashing people I will love it. He's talkin the talk and walkin the walk as far as I'm concerned.

Titans suck

The Titans truly suck. Their "quarterback"
is not a quarterback. He has athletic ability
and that's about it. It takes more than athletic
ability to read defenses, stand in the pocket,
deliver accurate passes on a consistent basis
and lead with authority. He's regressing at
an astounding rate. He gets pumped up to
play Houston and wins against them. Too bad
he can't play Houston every week.
