All I want for Christmas
Is a FREAKING WR/TE who can catch and HOLD onto the Ball!
It's time for the team to start looking at Ealy and Davis a lot more in the game.
Moulds can catch, but can't seperate. Brandon Jones can Seperate but can't Catch! Gage is having to do it all by himself it seems.
We already know Jones cost us the colts game, but how many more is he going to cost us because he can't catch?
Scaife, Well I've given up on him and Troupe. Is Erron Kinney still out there?
Oh and Lendale! You want to talk about how good of a Running back you are, Well try doing something all good running backs do! HOLD ON TO THE DAMN BALL! How many red zone fumbles does he have now? Makes me sick!
Chris Brown always looks good so I really think the Titans should start him when he is healthy and Chris Henry should be his back up. I have no faith is Lendale white at all anymore.
I'm glad to see that Fisher and Chow are letting Vince go now. You can see the confidence growing in him these past two games. Now if we can get Albert back and get back to apply crazy amount of pressure then we will actually start winning games by pretty good margins!

This game sucked.
It is expected that a 2nd yr QB is gonna struggle. What isn't expected is for said QB to have to take his team on his shoulders again and again, but with the D not stopping the run, that is what is apparently going to have to happen.
Honestly, this looks like an 8-8 team right now. They can beat the Bengals and the Jets. But finding two more wins on the schedule isn't gonna be easy without getting Haynesworth back.
Sorry to be such a downer, but... ugh. This was the game we'd been waiting for. This was the BREAK OUT GAME, and it was wasted.

Silver lining
I am counting on Haynesworth and Harper coming back against the Bengals.
Hopefully, with them back, our defense will go back to being dominant. If our defense can bounce back and Chow/Fisher keep letting VY throw the ball, I think we can beat anybody even with the recievers we have.
I agree with White tho. I think we should start giving our rookies a chance to play. They can't be any worse and we should see what we have in them before the offseason.

Fortunately,
The question is: where are the other wins coming from? We need 10, or this season is gonna go down as a historic collapse, and that's VERY unusual for a Fisher team.

Other Wins
Bengals
Houston
San Diego
Kansas City
Jets
Colts
If our defense returns to form then we can beat all of those teams. We beat Houston before. San Diego can seem to bring a consistent offense. The Colts may not play their starters.

Looking Ahead
Houston - They have their receiver back and have looked good lately. The team CAN win, but without Haynesworth, it's hardly a given.
San Diego - Can do everything Denver can do but better.
Kansas City - This is another game they ought to win, but Herm Edwards is also a good coach, and it's in a really tough place to play.
Jets - They better win. Then again, Pittsburgh surely thought this was a Win, too.
Colts - I think they'll be desperate by December. A better plan is that the Titans match up well without Freeney and Harrison.
Bottom line: There definitely ARE four wins here, and Fisher usually closes well, but... last night was TERRIBLE. More play like that will see more games lost like that.

Positive Karma
Seriously, at work I called 10-6 when they were 6-2. I still think that's a reasonable target. At the time I was figuring that the solid D couldn't keep making up for the lack of a passing game, and what has happened with the two losses is kinda reversed from that, but hey.
I think they'll get their act together more or less and get three or four more wins. Harper probably back next week, not sure about Albert. At the Mon press conference Jeff still wasn't making encouraging noises about Albert practicing.
I like WRs Williams and Gage, and I like Lendale (although yeah, he needs to lose a big mac or two and watch the fumbling). Moulds hasn't done much, and B Jones may have as many drops as catches - I'll see if I can look that up. They need to be throwing bricks at him (if you can dodge a brick, you can dodge a football). Givens is probably out of football - not sure I've ever heard of a wide-out coming back from a two year injury.
Make a move and free agency AND the draft on WRs. After you've payed for the Albertnator.

Heh.
I'll be happy if the team can make the playoffs. If they don't, this year has to be considered a disappointment.
