NFL Fines - Too Much, Too Often?
Is the NFL fining players too much now behind Goodell?
Is it just me or are there more fines this year?
It seems like Roger Goodell has ran the NFL like some sort of Untouchable from the past. Why does he/they continuously have to flex their muscles at NFL players?
I think it is more than safe to say that players have been thinking twice before knocking the heck out of someone. I think of Mathias Kiwanuka during the Titans/Giants comeback last season when he just let Vince Young go because he 'thought' he had passed the ball, but then Vince made him pay for that.
What are anyone else's thoughts on this? Is it OK to fine a guy for the littlest of fouls?

To add to your point,
I understand this but as it was during the Titans game a few weeks back, they called Haynesworth for a helmet to helmet that wasn't really one.
I hope this doesn't affect us anytime soon.

You know its going to...
Anytime the "New Sheriff" in town crap starts flying, you usually have a lot of collateral damage. I guarantee that someone will be ejected this week or next for a helmet to helmet that turns out later to be a terrible call.
