Which Way Do you Go?
Ok people! the Game of the "year" is coming up Next Weekend and I'm curious who you will be going for.
Do you go for the Pat's because you can't stand another team in our divsion winning a game?
Do you go for the Colt's because you can't stand how arrogant the Pat's are?
This is what I'd like to see. I want the Pat's to win because it would be a loss for the Colts and put us 1 Game behind them (assuming we win sunday too). If the Pat's win then we could very well be playing for the Divsion Title week 17.
Now I can't stand the Pat's, But I hope they go undefeated in the Regular Season! Go straight to the AFC Championship game and LOSE TO US!
that would just be the best thing in the world. and not only lose to us, but get shut right down and we beat them by 10 plus
How do you want this Sundays game against Indy and New England to go?

It has changed since week 1.
However, in the last few weeks, I've changed my mind. My anger at Bellicheat and the Patriots' play has now grown beyond my dislike for the Colts.
The Patriots need to be taken down a notch, for the greater good. And the Colts stand the best chance of doing it.

I'm rooting for the Colts!
- I actually like the Colts. I don't root for them when they play the Titans, but they're a fun team to watch, and I'm not embarrassed to admit it--though I could do with fewer Payton commercials.
- The Colts are the underdog, and it's more American to root for the underdog.
- The Pats are a bunch of lousy, stinking cheaters, and I'm sick of hearing about how great they are. Roids, HGH, illegal taping, you name it. And their coach dresses like a homeless person. With that in mind, I cannot bear the thought of them lifting the Lombardi Trophy a 4th time. It's enough already.
- IMO, it's in the Titans' interests for the Colts to win because the Titans have a better chance of beating the Colts in Indy than they do of beating the Pats in Foxborough during the playoffs. Basically, the Colts need home field advantage throughout, or the Pats will be unstoppable. Which is to say that they'll beat the Titans in the playoffs if it comes to that. I like TN's chances better in ANY other conceivable situation, including playing Indy in Indy.
- I've never liked Randy Moss. I still don't.
- And finally, it looks better for the Titans if the Colts win because then the whole division looks better. That also means that the Titans' odds of national TV coverage will improve, which is critical for those of us living outside the mid-South.

I love
But I rather have Home field and maybe a first round bye. So by the pat's winning it would put us closer to that goal.
If the colt's win then we are just that much further away from that and with less games to go.
If the Colt's win and place above us at the end of the season we will still have to go on the road and we still might have to go to New England.
If the Season ended today it would be
Pat's 8-0
colt's 7-0
Titans 5-2
Jag's 5-2
Pitt 5-2
K.C. 4-3
Pat's, colt's would have 1st round byes.
Pitt would be 3 seed, K.C. 4th Seed, Titans 5th and Jag's 6th seeds.
We would play Pitt in Pittsburgh, and the Jag's in K.C.
Say we win and the Jag's win (which I think they would) we would end up playing New England in New England anyways.
So in order to keep from having to play in New England we need to win our Division. To do so we need Indy to lose a few and us beat them at the end of the year.
We have to take care of our own Division first. A first round bye and home field for one game is better than playing all 3 on the road.

It's cool that you agree with me...
From what you just posted, I'd say the best chance is for San Diego to win the AFC West and for the Titans to fall to the bottom Wild Card. Then as per what you said, but SD goes to NE and knocks off the Pats while TN goes to Indy and knocks of Indy. Which, BTW, would be SWEET irony.
And then... well, SD probably knocks out TN after knocking out NE, but that's probably still the best chance given the way the Titans match up with the various teams in question.

If we
Lowest seeded team always travels to the #1 seeded team.
If we end up the 6th seed then we would have to travel to either Pitt or S.D. and if we win then to who ever the #1 seed is

So everyone likes the colts eh..?
As far as the playoffs go maybe I'm mistaken but wouldn't a 3 seed face the 6 seed and 4 against 5? Putting us against the chiefs and the steelers against the jags? Whatever the case, if the colts lose week 17 really looks a lot more interesting if the Offense gets their head on straight.
