Wednesday Afternoon Notes

Troy Brown went down with a knee injury today in practice.  He was carted off.  I will give an update as it becomes available.

VY has been named the AFC offensive player of the week.  That is a great honor for him.  Hopefully it will be a clean sweep when he wins rookie of the week on Friday.  

I think VY has to be a lock for the offensive rookie of the year.  I know people are going to argue for Addai, Bush, Jones-Drew and Colston but none of those guys have single handedly lifted a team like VY has.  This team is probably 2-13 without VY and could probably be 10-5 had he been starting all year.  The award should take into account intangibles and the writers agree VY will win going away.
